I've been a pro audio engineer for around 15 years. I live and work in NYC, and I travel when necessary.
My first love is making rock records. I also spend a lot of time doing broadcast, live recording, and crew work. I'm comfortable working with most anything: vintage consoles in $2500/day rooms, basement ProTools rigs, 2" 24-track, live-to-2 jazz and classical, three month rock lockouts, jingle sessions, voiceovers, mixing, mastering, webcasts, autotuning vocals into oblivion, whatever.
I work regularly as a crew member on ABC's Good Morning America, and The View I freelance when I can. I have a Protools HD rig that is racked and available for mixing at my midtown studio, for location recordings or mixing at your chateau in the mountains, if that's what you want.
Here's my allmusic page.
In 2009, "Here Come the 123s" by They Might Be Giants. (which I mixed half of) won a Grammy award for Best Musical Album For Children.
I've only recently started with the show, but in my short time there, I've mixed live performances by:
Diddy. Ricky Martin. Sheryl Crow. Susan Boyle. Emily Osment. Avril Lavigne. Jennifer Hudson. Trey Songz. The Band Perry. Bobby Brown. El DeBarge.
I do everything from handling the on-air mix to running cables and clipping on lavalier mics. I try to stick to the music side of things, but it doesn't hurt to do production audio too. I've done so much from ABC's Times Square studio and on location that I can't remember all of them - not surprising given the time of day.
Some mixes that have gone to air: The Fray. David Cook. Justin Beiber. Leona Lewis. Jordin Sparks. Jamie Foxx. The Cast of Rent. Donnie and Marie Osmond. Chaka Khan. Boyz II Men. Ingrid Michaelson. Blake Lewis. Imagination Movers. The Wiggles. Dan Zanes and Friends. The Cast of Grease. Sara Evans. Rick Springfield. Liza Minnelli. Rocky Lynne. Julianna Hough. Craig Morgan. Anthony Hamilton. Clay Aiken. Wynonna Judd. 5 For Fighting. They Might Be Giants.
I tracked and mixed these live in concert and in studios around NYC.
Fabolous w/Ne-Yo. Alicia Keys. Sara Bareilles. Colbie Callait. Jonas Brothers. Duffy. Katy Perry. Justin Beiber. Sean Kingston. Alice In Chains. Silversun Pickups. Harry Connick, Jr. Lynyrd Skynyrd. Three Days Grace. Mariah Carey. Tim McGraw. Shakira. Weezer. Phoenix.

I tracked, edited, and mixed these in studios around NYC.
PJ Harvey. Anthony Hamilton. Sheryl Crow.
These are available from the iTunes store.
Live to broadcast from Kampo in NYC. I engineered and mixed.
Morcheeba. Supergrass. Ryuichi Sakamoto. Tindersticks. Cousteau.
These are available on the KCRW Archives.
These shows started out as modest audio-only, live-to-2 performances at Kampo, intended for AOL's budding music section. They have since expanded to 4-5 camera shoots on the biggest soundstages, multitracking to Protools and mixing on zillion-input Neve and SSL consoles. I've had the opportunity to work at almost all of the major studios in NYC - Sony, Hit Factory, Right Track, Quad, Platinum Sound, Avatar.
I did tons of these, engineering and mixing...
